It is said that in ancient times, Namboru Boru Saroding went to Lake Toba to bathe and wash clothes, precisely on the edge of the lake where his parents lived, located between Palipi-Mogang (Palipi District, Samosir Regency) which is next to Rassang Bosi and Dolok Marlahan.

Boru Saroding is famous for her beauty. It is said that at that time Boru Saroding was claimed to be the most beautiful of all the Princesses/Boru Pandiangan.

Because of her beauty, many young men came from other villages and even from across Lake Toba to seduce her (Manandangi), but none of them could satisfy the hearts of the rich or the handsome.

The young man who came, went home without success. However, the young men did not feel hurt because Boru Saroding welcomed them politely and friendly.

Boru Saroding, who is known to be quiet, polite, obedient to his parents and kind towards his friends, is good at making Ulos Batak. He is very tenacious in his work.

Her tenacity made the parents quite surprised and proud of their daughter. Boru Saroding, who according to Batak tradition, has very good qualities and attitudes, is the ideal son-in-law who is highly sought after by the king's son.

When Boru Saroding was bathing and rinsing his long, beautiful hair on the shore of Lake Toba, suddenly a canoe carrying a handsome and dignified young man standing on the canoe approached Boru Saroding.

Seeing the young man wearing Ulos Batak and seeing his appearance, Boru Saroding thought that this young man was not an ordinary fisherman like those often seen around the shores of Lake Toba.

When the young man in the boat got closer to the place where Boru Saroding was washing his kaffir lime (Anggir in Batak language), Boru Saroding's heart pounded and he wondered, "Who is this young man?" while construction quickly cleaned his hair, because he felt embarrassed looking at a young man taking a shower.

In a hurry, Boru Saroding finished showering and left the beach for his parents' residence. However, when Boru Saroding was about to take a step, the young man said to Boru Saroding,

"Princess... why are you in a hurry to go home??" the young man asked Boru Saroding.

When Boru Saroding's steps stopped in surprise, he glanced at the young man who called him.

"This young man is handsome and dignified," assessed Boru Saroding in his heart.

"Incidentally, I still have a lot of work to finish at our house," Boru Saroding explained to the young man.
